BAMST is an association of Belgian scientists working on Meat or Meat products

 

BACKGROUND:

BAMST was founded in 1986 after the organisation of the 32nd EMMRW in GHent, Belgium. The organizing committee of the conference formed a permanent society of Belgian Scientists work Meat(vzw-asbl).

The EMMRW (European Meeting of Meat Research Workers, annual conferences on Meat) changed to ICOMST(International Conference on Meat Science and Technology) from 1987 on.

 

AIM:

the association has the objective to contribute to the promotion of and the cooperation with research, education and information in the area of Meat and Meat products.
